Dr. Ala Al-Fuqaha
Ala Al-Fuqaha is the interim Provost and Associate Provost for Teaching and Learning at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU). He is a professor at the Information and Computing Technology division, college of Science and Engineering, HBKU. His research interests include the use of machine learning in general and deep learning in particular in support of the data-driven and self-driven management of large-scale deployments of IoT and smart city infrastructure and services, ethical aspects of AI deployments, Wireless Vehicular Networks (VANETs), cooperation and spectrum access etiquette in cognitive radio networks, management and planning of software-defined networks (SDN), and engineering education. He is a senior member of the IEEE, a senior member of the ACM, and an ABET Program Evaluator (PEV) and commissioner. He served on editorial boards of multiple journals, including IEEE Communications Letters, IEEE Network Magazine, and Springer AJSE. He also served as chair, co-chair, and technical program committee member of multiple international conferences, including IEEE VTC, IEEE Globecom, IEEE ICC, and IWCMC.

Dr. Mohamed Essaaidi
Mohamed Essaaidi (Senior Member, IEEE) is currently the Chief of the Party of Interactive Digital Center Morocco and a Professor and the past Dean of the ENSIAS College, IT Engineering of Mohammed V University, Rabat, Morocco, the Past Director of the International Cooperation, Ministry of General Affairs & Governance, Morocco (2019), and a past Faculty Member (Professor and Assistant Professor) with the Faculty of Science, Abdelmalek Essaadi University, Tetuan, Morocco during 1993–2011. His research interests include RF and microwave passive and active circuits and antennas for wireless communications and medical systems. He is the IEEE Global Cities Alliance, MEA Chairman during 2021–2022, IEEE Humanitarian Activities Committee (HAC) Assessment Committee Member during 2021–2022, IEEE EAB Teaching Excellence Editorial Hub, Member during 2021–2022. He was extensively involved in the coordination of the World Bank Morocco Country Partnership Framework during 2019–2024 and OECD Morocco Country Program during 2019–2021 among other international cooperation programs

Dr. Faissal El Bouanani
Faissal El Bouanani (Senior Member, IEEE) was born in Nador, Morocco, in 1974. He received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in network and communication engineering from Mohammed V University-Souissi, Rabat, Morocco, in 2004 and 2009, respectively.,From 1997 to 2009, he was a Faculty Member with the University of Moulay Ismail, Meknes, Morocco. In 2009, he joined the National High School of IT/ENSIAS College of Engineering, Mohammed V University, Rabat, where he is currently an Associate Professor. He advised many Ph.D. and master’s students at Mohammed V University and the University of Moulay Ismail. He has authored or coauthored 120 papers in a wide variety of IEEE/ACM international conferences and journals. He was a Technical Program Committee (TPC) Member in various conferences and IEEE journals. His current research interests include performance analysis and design of wireless communication systems.,Dr. El Bouanani was a TPC Chair of International Conference on Smart Digital Environment, a General Co-Chair of 2016 International Conference on Advanced Communication Systems and Information Security and 2018 International Conference on Advanced Communication Technologies and Networking (CommNet), and a General Chair of the 2019–2023 CommNet conferences. His Ph.D. thesis was awarded the best one by Mohammed V University-Souissi in 2010. He is also an Associate Editor for IEEE Access and Frontiers in Communications and Networks. He is a Lead Guest Editor for the Physical Layer Security Special Issue in Frontiers in Communications and Networks

Dr. Ahmed Zellou
Received his Ph.D. in Applied Sciences at the Mohammedia School of Engineers, Mohammed V University, Rabat, Morocco 2008, his engineering degree from MSE in 2001, his habilitation to supervise research work in 2014. He becomes full professor in 2021. He is currently a coordinator of the IWIM Web Engineering & Mobile Computing branch at ENSIAS Mohamed V university in Rabat, Morocco. His research interests include parallel computing, information systems (business informatics), and distributed computing, where he is the author/co-author of over 100 research publications.
